I'm all about equality, but there's a reason men and women don't usually compete with each other in physical competition.

I understand it may be hard for a person with gender identity issues, so I don't think they should be shunned, but I think a line has to be drawn somewhere. They should fight whatever sex they are physically, not mentally.

It's not like her gender identity was a secret. Fallon is also undefeated. Brents knew what she signed up for and any complaining is unsportsmanlike. I find it hard to believe that Fallon is unbeatable just because of her birth sex. If folks want to discredit her based on that, then it is pure hate.

I'm not denying that men are able to be stronger than women. That doesn't mean every man is. Also, a fight is not all about strentgh. This isn't about transgenderism in general, it's about how it affects a specific sport.

The only reason people let Fallon Fox ride is because of the minimal skill level she posseses. Really, if she were serious competetion as a man, then transitioned and was wiping women it would be banned immediately. As it is, she gets disregarded cause reallistically she just isn't that good.

Fallon Fox is nowhere near as good/strong as Cyborg or Ronda who were born female (Fox is not even top 10 at her weight), so the argument that she's some sort of serious danger/liability is a joke, unless you also believe Cyborg and Ronda should be banned from competition out of "fear" of them "possibly killing their opponent" .

Originally there was a single league and whoever had the belt was simply the best.
Then weight classes were introduced. So now a person is never the best, merely the best at that weight.
Now, with gender seperation you aren't even the best at that weight. You are the best at that weight taking into account gender.
A further dillution.

I get why its done... but in its initial stage the ufc was street fighter. You could see a wrestler fight a boxer, or a karate guy vs a marine. These were literally some of the first matches. You had your Ryus and Zangiefs and Guiles and Sagats and Balrogs... All that was ever missing was Chun Li.

Its a shame we won't ever get to see Rampage Jackson airplane spin a chick by her legs and toss her over the cage onto Joe Rogan's com desk.

I have mixed feelings about this but mostly due to my ignorance in biology.
My first answer would be to say that considering she experienced puberty as a male (as in with male hormones) she has an unfair advantage because that's when muscles, bones and skeleton and stuff "grow" and transform to their final form. But it seems she's taken female hormones for long and I don't know if that reverses the process or not. If it's the case then I'd have no problem with trans-women fighting females as long as it is known for sure that their current females hormones intake put them on the same level that women. Otherwise, I'd be against it.
