Vietnam and the US are on great terms... do you actually follow politics?

He c was referring to the US not having any love for its black citizens, not Vietnam not having love for America.

Oh it's crazier than that!!!!!
My uncle said that alot of times
troops couldnt always get to ration
drops or kill livestock of farmers in
the jungle and ended the conversation
with human flesh is sweet in taste.

rednecks were getting that work over there.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
It was lost on the battlefield.

A war is not about who kills the most. It's not MMA.

The US, despite total technological superiority and tons of bombs dropped on Vietnam, Cambodge and Laos, was unable to knock the North Vietnamese out of the war.

The US left without being able to realize its war objective. It lost.
Let’s be fair here, they weren’t allowed to strike North Vietnam. It wasn’t all out war or they’d have bombed the shyt out of their cities and HQs and never bothered on the ground

Anyone ever read in detail about what happened to John McCain?

Love or hate him, it's crazy to imagine.

If you actually do research on NVA correspondence released after the war...

they were on the verge of being defeated..

the tet offensive was a desperate last grasp at trying to turn the tide

I had an summer internship when in college working for the city. One of the guys I would send reports to was in Vietnam.

He shared alot of stories with me about the war.

He came back home from the war and wasn't the same.

Got hooked on heroin. Wife eventually divorced him. He would sleep with his shotgun during thunderstorms. The thunder reminded him of bombs and gunfire while in the trenches.

Eventually he got clean and turned his life around
