The absolute worst tornadoes are the ones at night. I too would go through back to back blizzards before ever wanting to go through a tornado.

We had a warning one night a couple months ago after I got off work. Had my mind set on some wings I was gonna make. Sirens started going off and I spent 45 mins in an interior room with my phone. Just an uneasy feeling because at night, you can't really see shít outside. At least in the day, you can look in the sky and somewhat see what's going on

I hope breh/and family can recover and his son pulls through. I can't even imagine. We get them boys Michigan but nowhere near the occurrence as down south.
Tornadoes are the scariest thing on this planet to witness. I've seen 2, one as a kid and one as an adult. It's crazy how quiet it gets before they form and how fast they go from a dark cloud to full tornado. Luckily I wasn't close enough to be affected by it. But when they touch down they sound like a big ass train.
