I realized then and there that The Last of Us was not playing They said that Cordyceps are millions of years away from developing to what we see in the show but I know some deranged cacs could try to engineer it in a lab. We would be absolutely and thoroughly COOKED Every single tree and plant would be crawling with it underground, just leaking spores everywhere
