Diversity is one thing but cmon...the face of a black marching band is not a black person?

The boy from Alabama State went to a black high school. He's not the lead drum major either.
And HBCUs have been trying to show that they are leaders in diversity.
You won't really see the equivalent at PWIs
This is not a fukkin trend. You don’t know shyt about HBCU marching bands, you just wanted to start some drama. White and Latinos haven been in HBCU bands since the early 90s.
I could post dozens of images of non blacks in HBCU bands being a drum major or being showcased.
Talk to someone who actually marched in a HBCU band and they’ll tell you this shyt don’t matter. They went through the same long camps and practices we did, and if they wanted to try out for DM then let them. Only ones with an issue with this are you goofy nikkas on here who probably never stepped foot on an HBCU campus or probably didn’t even apply to one thinking you’re too good to go to one. I marched with a couple non black folks at Alabama State & they were cool as hell & nobody had an issue with them.
There are probably 60 something HBCU bands and only 2 or 3 have non black drum majors, so how exactly is this a trend?
Or you just wanted a plat thread by posting some divisive shyt huh?

Hbcu’s been a joke since 2012.
They’re basically c00n factories at this point.
You go in there with some semblance of militancy and leave a left wing bootlicker with 60k in debt.
Which schools?Non Blacks have increasing become the majority groups in HBCUs. Some have up two 80% non Black. I'm not even why they call them HBCUs tbh. If 80% of the student base is white, why not just go to a state school?
