Saw the notification that the thread was upped and immediately knew that alt-right weirdo poster would be in here defending him. :mjlol:

I'll assume you're talking about me, and I'm not defending him. You made a post of a bunch of irrelevant stuff to what this entire situation was about to try and downplay what the chick did. His suspension was mainly due to the one accuser.

The other situations you listed, may be true, and if he's guilty of something with those, he should be punished. However, his video was talking about one particular case, and you started your own post saying you don't know much about the situation, and then list a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with this one particular case.

Edit: He may very well be a scumbag, and I couldn't care less about him. The issue is with this one particular accuser. When she's clearly lied and planned this entire situation, and the media runs with it, knowing certain parts of the story are false, then they should retract their statements and issue an apology, which they won't. The issue is more with her (this one particular accuser) and the media as a whole.

Bauer might indeed be an abuser/sadist/a$$hole but in this case the woman was lying and I doubt she will face any repercussions for it.

Also her lawyers appeared to have suppressed exculpatory evidence and the legal layman that I am wonders why lawyers dont face professional consequences for this(forgive me if I am completely wrong or off base on this)
They do. The Bar will definetly look into this.

Bauer is a fukking man child but the real reason he got black balled is for not only calling out spider tac but then going on a "ok don't believe me yall said I was finished now let me use this spider tac to show you, fukk you tour"

This shyt was just the reason they came up with. Like Zeke suspension was a fukking get back at Jerry Jones.

What is the spider tac thing?

And why did they get back at Jerry?

Long story short Jerry robbed the nfl front office of a lot of power.

Before he bought the cowboys the nfl itself decided who got to do endorsement deals with teams, instead of the team owners.

You want to do a deal with Nike? Nfl front office says you can...if we get 10 mil...otherwise...no.

Jerry bought the cowboys and said fukk that I'm doing endorsements with whoever I want.

League office said no Jerry sued them.

The lawsuit got to the point where the league office would have had to show their accounting books and of course a bunch of old ass crackas aint about to show you sheets of paper that outline what they do with their money.

So they had no choice but to let Jerry do whatever deals he want without them, and of course all the other owners said I want to do my deals to.

The fact that the cowboys became the most popular team and was winning superbowls was just salt in the wound.

They been giving the cowboys some hilariously bad calls every since. And it means nothing to the NFL bottom line doing so because the cowboys are the most popular and lucrative team when they win, and they the most popular and lucrative team when they lose.

Spider Tac is a substance pitchers use to have better grip on the ball but because of the better grip the ball spins more it's hard for the batter to pick up and it leaves the baseball very sticky. Bauer was one of the players who called it out at the beginning especially the Astros pitchers. Then after the disastrous ending in Cleveland he decided to start using it in Cincinnati and rejuvenated his career just to show everyone it makes a huge difference.

:ohhh:

Had no idea it was a black (Nigerian) chick

"
A woman who accused former major league pitcher Trevor Bauer of sexual assault has been indicted by a grand jury in Arizona on felony charges of fraudulent schemes and theft by extortion.

Darcy Adanna Esemonu "knowingly did obtain a benefit from ... Trevor Anthony Bauer by means of fraudulent pretenses, representation, promises, or material omissions," according to an indictment dated March 19 and filed Monday in the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County. Esemonu also "knowingly did obtain or sought to obtain property or services ... by means of a threat to in the future expose a secret or an asserted fact in a social media message or in any other manner" involving another individual, according to the indictment. That individual is not associated with Bauer, his attorney told ESPN.

Esemonu did not respond to messages seeking comment. The prosecutor listed on the indictment could not be reached late Tuesday for comment.

An arraignment hearing in the case is scheduled for April 26 in Maricopa County.

EDITOR'S PICKS

Esemonu filed a lawsuit against Bauer in 2022, later updated in 2023, alleging he sexually assaulted her in 2020, which led to an "unplanned pregnancy." In court filings, Bauer's attorneys described the situation as "a single sexual encounter" that "was consensual." Bauer countersued Esemonu for fraud, saying she was attempting to harass and extort money from him in the wake of similar allegations made by three other women.

In a statement provided to ESPN by his lawyers, Bauer said Esemonu demanded $3.6 million from him and "claimed I forced her to have an abortion" and "when I refused to pay her the $3.6 million she was asking for, she made up a bogus sexual assault claim and filed a civil suit against me."

Attorneys listed for Esemonu in her lawsuit did not respond to messages seeking comment.

Esemonu reported the alleged assault to the Scottsdale Police Department in December 2022, a week after she filed the suit against Bauer.

According to police reports obtained by ESPN, when Esemonu was interviewed by a detective following her allegation of sexual assault, she "initially stated she had a miscarriage, but later referred to the miscarriage as an abortion." The detective added that the medical records she had provided "do not indicate" whether she "was in fact pregnant."

In January 2023, one of Bauer's attorneys, Anne Chapman, also contacted the Scottsdale Police Department to file a criminal complaint accusing Esemonu of "theft by extortion." According to that complaint, Chapman told police that Esemonu "had demanded financial compensation from her client for a pregnancy and abortion that was alleged to be false."

The Los Angeles Dodgers cut ties with Bauer in January 2023 after the 2020 Cy Young Award winner received an unprecedented suspension by MLB following allegations of sexual assault by a woman in California and at least two others. Bauer has denied their allegations."

Watching

Former Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer prevailed in court Monday, when a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered the woman who accused him of sexual assault to pay more than $300,000 for violating the terms of a settlement agreement.

Bauer and Lindsey Hill, the woman whose 2021 allegations triggered a Major League Baseball investigation that resulted in Bauer’s suspension, settled dueling lawsuits two years ago. He had sued her for defamation, she had sued him for assault and sexual battery, and the parties agreed that neither had paid any money to the other.

In an email to Bauer’s attorneys, Hill’s attorneys said she would receive $300,000 from her insurance policy. On Monday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Daniel Crowley ordered Hill to pay $309,832.02.

After the settlement, Hill claimed on social media that Bauer “handed back an insurance sum to me that was meant for him in order for me to drop my countersuit.”

Bauer sued her in October, citing 21 similar claims on a podcast or on social media — all of them alleged violations of a settlement provision forbidding her from saying Bauer or any representative “paid her any money as consideration for the settlement.” Each alleged violation cost $10,000, according to the terms of the settlement agreement.

Hill did not contest or respond to the suit. After telling Bauer’s attorneys in February they had not made a strong enough case and then telling them in April they had not justified their fees, Crowley granted Bauer a victory by default and ruled his attorneys had produced “sufficient evidence to justify the award.”

The award included $220,000 for the 22 violations of the agreement. The remaining money requested by Bauer’s attorneys and approved by Crowley covered attorney fees and costs, plus interest on the award.
