I'm known to not give a fukk and keep my on, but gotdamn...even when I go back home to where my family is from, I walk on eggshells

as long as you stay to the tourist areas for the most part, outsiders should be alright. unless you rolling deep and got a tour guide, telling you where and where not to go. (but even then I'd take caution, cause some shotta's prey on tourists.)

I always go for carnival...just go with people that know it...on the road stay in a group and dont take side streets even with a group..they will tell you..carnival is eating season for the gangs,they are quick to stab, i known about 4 people that got stabbed in about 3 years....They know people are in town and have cash...

shyts gotten horrible there over the last few years. Fam is from there and my grandmother lived in the heart of Laventille, would be out there every summer till I was 14. Somewhere since then shyt seriously got terrible. My parents used to watch the news out there from here, seein videos of dudes cuttin peoples head off and leavin it on a table for all to see. My grandmother lived there on and off till 08 when she got robbed at gun point in her own home, weeks after I was there to visit. She been here in the city ever since. Still got fam there but haven't been since 08 and I already know the only shyt to rock out there is some plain t's, wife beaters, shorts and sandals. Anything beyond that will get you on immediate
