I'm going to disagree on some points that
@Geoffrey_Chaucer made.
In terms of affordability of accommodation,
it would depend on the season that you are going. If it's a holiday, then it's definitely not affordable. A hotel that I would usually pay ~$100 for was charging over $700 a night just last week during a Saudi holiday weekend. I would say it's affordable if you're staying in a low budget area like Deira though.
Taxis on the other hand are pretty affordable (it goes with the low cost of fuel). You could equally take the metro or the tram in the Marina area, but it only runs along Sheik Zayed road (the main road which pretty much runs across the city of Dubai).
I'm against hiring sex workers, but you can definitely bring them into the hotel. Again, if you are staying in area like Deira, or further out of Dubai proper where the laws are stricter, then you cannot. Anywhere in Dubai though, they will simply ask for their ID at the front desk.
You wouldn't even need to hire sex workers though, as the girls in the clubs are basically all expats and are usually looking to have a good time.
