As we've been reporting, two of the standouts at the recent WWE Performance Center's recent tryout camp were former Ring of Honor tag team champions Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards.

The latest is that WWE is still in talks with both men, with a few influential employees pushing the company to give them a closer look and sign them.

Other people, including Triple H, are against signing them because WWE "has signed enough indy wrestlers." The feeling is that WWE already has enough indy workers in developmental and the company is focusing on signing larger than life characters.

And if theyre at the performance center...why dont they just reprogram them in wwe style if thats what hhh wants?

I dont buy this story

HHH has said its easier to train someone new in the WWE style than it is to reprogram an established veteran from their style to the WWE style. Its like a lifelong military vet adapting to the civilian world, I'd bet. I think HHH should get over his bias, but I can't argue that he has a valid point just based on what he's looking for

Not too familiar with these guys but I could have sworn there was a thread about one of them almost killing Brian Kendrick. That's not good for business. :camby:

Davey doesn't need to be anywhere near the E. They'd have to teach him to sell too, like first day selling :heh:

As a tag team they would be a great addition, but anything besides that? :camby:
