I don't know if I'd agree with their assessment of "disaster" but several cable companies do not have deals yet and apparently people aren't flocking to pay $30 if they already have ESPN in their cable package.
My recommendation to people is still just use a VPN through Netflix to bypass everything.

WWE's "Wrestlepalooza" will be a disaster if ESPN doesn't secure distribution deals with Comcast and YouTube TV this week.

I don't know, I'm sure ESPN/TKO are going to say it was the "biggest most successful thing ever" but we'll see if they make any new deals this week or if they release actual numbers.
Also, I looked into it and ESPN App is STILL only streaming at 720p which is insane. Another reason to use Netflix instead.

I know fans probably see it as a step down but I think producing these shows is a bigger deal than being a competitor personally (unless you’re a main player)

Jason Jordan is a producer now as well.
It’s not a fancy job in terms of notoriety because in wrestling, the fans mainly pay attention to the competitors and the head booker, but I think being responsible for putting together what the people actually see is real dope. My dream job in wrestling would be producer low key
