Who had the better professional wrestling legacy?

I think it's a close comparison. HHH probably has one of the best (if not the best) WWE legacy with his 14 World titles and countless classic feuds. But he has no legacy anywhere else and has only made an impact in one organization in his career. Jericho has a solid WWE legacy with 6 world titles, but he also made a mark in Mexico, Japan, and WCW/ECW and has a chance to do so in AEW. Both guys are as good all around performers as you can be, with both being successful both as heels and babyfaces and being able to perform in the ring and on the mic.

Why am I mentioned I was never a HHH Stan. I don't hate him like much of the internet does, he was the top heel during one of the hottest periods in wrestling, he did have a run at one point that made the product unbearable to watch, him going over Punk cleanly when punk was at his hottest IMO is one of the most if not the most unforgivable and egregious booking decisions in company history, I even made a thread about it. Though over the past few years he has put a number of guys over. He does have classic matches and feuds under his belt. He is the greatest politicker in the history of the biz, he politicked his way into the bosses daughters panties and parlayed that into an ownership stake. He is probably my last favorite member of the kliq but he's a first ballot HOF'er. That said to answer your question, I'd choose Jericho, Jericho might crack my personal top 3 of all time

I’ve sat and thought and I’ve been a Jerichoilc way before 2000 HHH heel turn. Son was the man and set a lot of shyt off in the biz (Undisputed champ among them). I literally got WM 2000 cause Jericho actually made it in the game. First ever match was Jericho vs X-Pac :wow:

e’s over like rover any fed he goes to. Him coming to the WWF/E as well as the Terri Invitational Tournament Finals (E&C vs Hardy Boyz) for me sparked that change from the sloppy workrate in 98 to the workrate leveling up thanks to him and the Radicalz jumping and the Tag Division moving from the NAO hogging the belts and gave us something new with the triangle ladder match and TLC series. Funny thing is some of the stuff he was saying about the AE in his initial run was true especially when he called SummerSlam “SummerSham” :russ:

Ironically both of them were in the GOAT Raw match (2 Man Power Trip vs Jericho and Benoit)

I'm going with Jericho. (imo) He's a overall better performer, gave us countless classics (both matches & promos), "Armbar!", 1st Undisputed champion, came up with the Money in the Bank ladder match, he managed to sell the same gimmick for over 20 years, "The List" and he doesn't mind putting over younger talent.

HHH studied under master tutors HBGOAT , Hall and Nash. He was destined for greatness just by being kliqed up combined with his work effort. Is he a hall of Famer yes. If Shawn never got hurt , I don’t think he would be given a top spot. HBK would have feud with prime Kurt, Eddie and Rock and given them mania moments.

Jericho’s current AEW run will make it not particularly close

Another thing with HHH is that we don’t really discuss is how his role in Montreal and keeping his mouth shut about the whole thing that time likely got his foot in the door even before getting in Steph’s pants. I’m sure he would’ve been at least one time champ at some point (even if transitional) thanks in part to that (prob when he became champ for the first time in 99 or him being champ at the end of the year instead of Big Show).

Son was sitting in booking meetings as an active talent :mjlol:
