Will watch when available but truth be told these cats kinda suck with story and characterisation. Jackie Chan flicks weren't just martial arts porn. Never saw ong bak but raids man after a while you just get desensitized to the fighting and it's like is this ever going to end

I guess I am a rare breed, I just want a lil story and character sandwiched between the action for me to care about what I am watching. Without it then it's just physical noise. Bruce Lee and Jackie had no problem with that

LOL I have the Bruce Lee collection and the nikkas plots outside of Enter The Dragon was flimsy at BEST.

And take away the Police Story series and the same for Jackie.

Dragons forever was fine besides with he and Bruce the choregraphy was more imaginative. The hero didn't fight the same style as everyone else. Not all the villains even knew martial arts. Some would just brawl and get their wig split. Those little beats plus how they put their bodies on the line is why those flicks fight scenes stand up today

Not every action flick can be Crouching Tiger or Raid 2 or Terminator 2 it's an anamoly but fukk....I can't wait for this.

yes because we have to go from zero to a hundred right?Even the biggest 80s action stars had some story and character going for them. You need that shyt so when we get to the action you are enthralled. If shyt is poppin off and you don't know who what and where it's like. . No offense but you sound like your attention is limited

My favorite flicks are Dark City, Brazil, Minority Report....all in my top 10 (Dark City is my all-time fav). Ex Machina was live as fukk. I'll be there opening week for the new Blade Runner....the original is another top 10 for me.

Excuse me for thinking a bunch of nikkas known for kicking ass and doing it well I'm not looking for Othello. Michael Jai White, Adkins, Jaa and Iko can't act for shyt and why would I expect it? It's like listening to Three Six Mafia expecting Illmatic.

Arnold, Sly, Van Damme, Norris, Seagal Lundgren couldn't act for shyt. And their plots sukked dyck. And their shyt was live as fukk. Only Bruce Willis and Liam Neeson and Matt Damon can pull off "acting" and action.
