Idk your guess is as good as mine, its all speculation at this point all i know is this Trump visit is going to fukk everything up. They will have to shut down the whole city even more then it is now.

The storm is going to make another pass and estimates have upto 50 more in of rain and that this will last tell the end of the week, the Bayous are already overflowing and will fail and engulf large swathes of the city if these estimates are correct.

Now they are planning a rescue of a nursing home flooded out in the WoodLands 70 people are on the 2nd Floor.

And if anyone needs rescue let me know, i have a family friend who works for the FD and he has a boat.

It's a method of self policing...the curfew.

LE and NatGuard are too spread out with rescue and relief to actually focus on criminal activity. A curfew abided by keeps people safe during hours when it's expected that lawlessness may pick up and it makes it easier for police and troops to swoop down on folks who might try something because it's easier to spot and get at one or two people moving around versus thousands in that of environment.

It's necessary to be harsh because you don't want to set a precedent that makes it in anyway acceptable for anyone to be out. Period.
