Trouble viewing Smilies

I can't view some of the newer smilies on my IOS devices, if someone is using one of those smilies I see a random picture in its place. This happens on my iPad and iPhone even when I switch to desktop mode. This has been going on for a few months now

It's like the smilie gets replaced by someone else's avi

The way that some smilies are coded, can't be recognized properly on iOS devices. I'd recommend using an alternate operating system.
