Tax has to give his version, so the lawyer got his statement of facts from Tax. It's not coming out of the lawyer's ass. So as a strategy the Lawyer who is hired by Tax(who is the boss) has to sign off on the strategy.
It's not rocket science. The narrative is created by Tax, the writer is the lawyer.

nikka everybody knows what happen Tax shot Banga and Troy but Troy was able to grab it and got up and fired back ,
but Troy is fighting the case because he fired in the club as Taxstone was running for his life so he has to say why he was firing at Tax and what he saw happened so he has to use the self defense case or it is curtains for him, while Taxstone has to say Troy's DNA is on the gun also and cause doubt of who fired the shots that killed banga but that is the hail mary for Tax because if Tax pulled a gun out he will be charged with murder regardless whether he fired or not
Real talk it is no snitching in this just two dudes having to defend themselves on opposite sides of the action to getaway from serious jail time
I would not be surprised if someone say Troy snitching by releasing this paperwork
