One of the reasons chivalry is dead is because women think it is a entitlement rather than a privilege. As a man, the only thing you are require to do is take care of your responsibilities. Now, you can choose to be a chivalrous, generous and all around good man, or you can choose to be a non chivalrous a$$hole and still be a man. Chivalry is pretty much everything you said, and equates to being a simp, imo. It's treating females like they are superior to males. When you think about it logically, in an equal society it does not exist. So basically, females want equal rights yet still wish to be treated like they are superior. There's nothing wrong with opening a door for a female, or bringing flowers or shyt like that. However, there is something wrong with expecting that everyday like it should be the norm. I just don't understand why some women think shyt that used to fly back in medieval times is going to work in 2015. There's no place for it. You either accept your role as an equal and be happy when you get treated well or go build a goddamn time machine.

I completely agree with that sentiment. I don't mind doing nice things to people either. A woman needs to prove that she respects me before I'm willing to make myself vulnerable to those labels, however.
