Kobe might be the smartest cap-hold move of the new CBA though. Kinda weird but... with the salary floor acting the way it does and the Lakers in a position where they might be tanking for a while - who else to tie your money up in? With the new CBA, teams HAVE to pay a minimum amount and at least with Kobe you're still going to sell merchandise and keep your stans/fans on the hemightcomebacknextweekyouneverknow:troll: tip. Its a lot easier for the Lakers to manipulate their cap while maintaining flexibility in their future over the next two years. So even though its a legacy deal, its not a BAD situation for them to be in at all. At least when compared to other teams where the team's short and long term success is directly linked to those guys playing up to their paygrade. :yeshrug:

Josh Smith needs to be on that list though. :mjlol:

and :pacspit::pacspit::pacspit: @ everyone who clowned on the Bobcats signing Al Jefferson last year. Bobcats might've been swept but at least we ain't get roofied and fukked like BrookLyn is :mjpls::pacspit:

dwill is going through somethin. Ppl forget he has a son with a huge disability. Dude clearly focused on other thing that in his head is more important than basketball. This isn't the same passionate player that balled for Utah.

He was never elite. That Illini team that were in final fours were stacked. In Utah, he was a product of Sloans pnr heavy flex offense that overrated him and Boozer. You see how both of those dudes weren't the same once they left Utah
