before nikkas heard of gucci, waka, o.j, keef etc..it was flip who had the hood on smash with that simple ass shyt..

and yea i know master P & C murder was simple with the flow too, but their style of rap wasn't popular at time..nikkas respected what they was saying, but not the actual way they were rapping..

but nikkas was really feelin lil flip from like 02 to 04, then gucci stepped on the scene in 05 wit "icy"..

master p & c-murder were way more popular than lil flip.

NO, cuz he been rappin like that since forever, but only recently has the simple/nursery rhyme flow become the norm..and most would say its becuz of Gucci..and im sayin that before gucci blew up, lil flip was spittin the same way..he just dont get acknowledged for it becuz nobody listens to him anymore

well if you put it like that, the powers that be should be credited for "making it the norm" seeing that theyve been purposely flooding the airwaves with it for the past 10 years now.

and most of those atlanta crunk rappers were way-way more simple than lil flip.

btw, i didnt even fully peep the thread title. master p shouldnt be mentioned. he didnt have a simple flow half/most of the time.
