True or False: You shouldn't help anyone out whose own family want nothing to do with

From my own experiences I've noticed that people who are on the outs with their fam are usually the cause of it....for example my moms let my sister bring her bf in the house....I told my mom to put him out. I asked who he was and why he was staying, she gave some vague reason like "his mother didn't think it would be appropriate to have him stay with her"....whole time in my head I'm thinking that explained absolutely nothing

couple months later it turns out the nikka was stealing everybody money.

Another example, I let a homie stay with me. This nikka caused all sorts of problems within the household, but couldn't move back home because he owed $3k in gas bills! He moved his lil bro in because his older sis kicked him out...I ended up kicking them out because they repeatedly stole food and damaged the house...turns out his lil bro was putting holes in walls over at his sis crib, stole his bro sneaks and lied for a whole week, and was getting suspended/failing every class as a high school freshman!


So ima go ahead and say true.

I am at a point in my life where I don't want to become anyone's homeless shelter, especially a grown man. If a grown ass man can't sustain himself then that is on him!

Granted, there are certain circumstances where people are down on their luck and need a helping hand, but at the same time, there are resources out there who are equipped to help those people.

I work hard to get what I have and don't have time to be dealing with people who isn't trying to help themselves.

I honestly don't want anyone living with me. But, if I ever do open my house to someone, them have to come with some ends, a job and a plan to leave within a short period of time.

Perhaps there is some truth to what you have said.

I don't mean to come off as selfish, but I simply like living alone!! I run my own program and when you bring other people into your space, then things change.

There is a lot of people who need help. On occasion, I also need some assistance, but I do believe that you can't help everyone..

There are certain people you can help and know that they will do right by you. I don't mind helping people like that because if the tables were turned, that person would do the same for me.

In reality, a lot of people who ask for help take advantage of those who help them which is unfortunate. I guess if someone comes to you for help, it would be in your best interest to vet that person to make sure said person is solid...

Aside from mom, children, a down ass sibling or relative and a day one true to the game solid ass homie, everyone else can HYON!! *shrugs*

If you meet someone and they give u a sob story about how they dont get along with fam, have no friends, etc. Dont do it.

What they're leaving out is how terrible a person they are.

Most definitely. Outside of being a first or 2nd generation immigrant if a person doesn't have at least one person that actually loves them to look out in a time of need it usually tells you 2 things.

1. They're probably a "ain't shyt" person.
2. They've burned bridges to the point of no return with every person who actually loves them.

Either way you can't save that type of person. They're just gonna go from couch to couch taking advantage of people.

I had a cousin who had to end up in a homeless shelter before he realized he had to tighten up and take the goal of maintaining employment seriously.
