Absolute chaos.
There's only a few choice slices of the global economic pie left and if you've been paying attention the past four years you'll see that at first it was essentially the West versus China (and Russia) but now with Trump returning..it's basically fukk y'all it's the United States versus everyone. Canada trying to prepare for Trump but their government is unstable, they'll likely get crushed by his tariffs and Mexico has responded to Trump's threats by running to China, which is why whispers of US troops going down to "handle" the Cartels is getting louder in the Senate. Trump is even threatening to take back the Panama Canal militarily. These folks in Government understand what's at stake even though their citizen is largely ignorant of how dire the economic situation is.
I don't think people understand how insanely negative history reads actions like this by a major power, protectionism like this that is not resolved by peaceful negotiation ALWAYS evolves into HOT WARS. I stay by my original statement that Trump will blunder and get us involved in fighting Iran for Israel and will open up hostilities with China and Russia. Domestically, this isn't 2016..I don't think we have enough powder in the guns to fight multiple trade conflicts without suffering major pain here stateside. I think Trump understood this which is why he mentioned he wouldn't be able to do anything about inflation with regards to food, etc..
