You should at least have a hint of a British accent, if you lived there till early teens. Patrick Ewing moved to NYC at 15 and you can still hear his accent. 21 sounded like he never let metro Atlanta's city limits

he spent more time in the US than the uk, he was 12,STILL learning english ffs,of course his accent will change eventually
ESPECIALLY when he is trying to fit in at a young age,of course he is going to force it when hes 13/14 years old
