He’s too stupid to realize you can’t just turn farming on like a faucet. You have to take years to produce and and get logistics in place to move it and buyers(which will all be broke because of Trumpflation)

Tariffs are supposed to be a scalpel that is used sparingly to protect dying industries.
This administration is using them like a bazooka to blow up opps and hope it works out.
The american farmers he's trying to protect rely HEAVILY on potash from Canada. If Canada puts even a little bit of tariffs on potash, they're all fukked.
Forget that for a second, the farmers are being bled dry by John Deere and Monsanto that have effectively slapped season passes and DLC on farm equipment and crops.
Everything Trump does is exactly what he said he'd do. In that sense, he's pleasing his supporters. The problem is that everything he's doing also hurts them. It's a classic American CAC tradition.
