This goes into effect immediately upon signing.

Basically certain federal jobs you get additional $$ upon retirement until you get close to the age for social security. Firefighters, Air traffic controllers, etc type of jobs

Ends up being probably an additional 20k+ a year added to your retirement, and now it’s gone

Anyone who retires before he signs this is still able to get it.. just checked my web scheduler and 2 people have put in their retirement papers so far just in my area.

Gonna be a mass exodus of air traffic controllers retiring here ASAP


Also looks like they are trying to do a High 5 instead of high 3.. taking away more $$ from your pension
