Trump defends Putin: 'You think our country is so innocent?'

'President Trump defends Russian President Vladimir Putin in a new interview, saying he respects the Russian leader.

"I do respect him ... I respect a lot of people but that doesn't mean I'm going to get along with him," Trump said during an interview with Fox News's Bill O'Reilly.

"He's a leader of his country. I say it's better to get along with Russia than not, and if Russia helps us in the fight against ISIS – which is a major fight, and Islamic terrorism all over the world – that's a good thing. Will I get along with him? I have no idea."


O'Reilly pressed Trump on his statement, saying, "But he's a killer though. Putin's a killer."

"There are a lot of killers. We've got a lot of killers. What, you think our country is so innocent?" Trump responded.

The interview is scheduled to air Sunday afternoon before the Super Bowl.'

I mean in a way he is right, we kill a lot of people with our drones in foreign countries including innocent people, I'm not even angry about what he is saying, but I wonder how will Republicans react to Trump shytting on America while defending Putin, remember guys we are talking about the same Republicans who gave Obama a lot of shyt for his 'apology' tour.

i doubt the old-school type of republicans will like it but the alt-right guys and his supporters? pfft...trump said it - so just by default they're jacking off to this. and yeah, of course it'd be different if obama said anything like that about america. the right would want to impeach him and put him up for treason.

we all know trump wasn't lying. in a way, it's quite refreshing to hear something like that. but at the same time, it's just so strange having the president of the united states saying that shyt...so casually...so easily...so defensively. :russ: i can honestly see this guy fukking around, all pissed off on a late night twitter rage or getting flustered in a interview or something and start telling some top-secret shyt one day.
