The Black farmers are not complaining, because they are not relying in cheap labor, they do it themselves and employ other Black people.

As for picking vegetables, you know good and god damn well that there is a huge difference between owning a farm and working as a migrant for a dole or Del Monte. My granddaddy owned a farm but he also had a full time job as a carpenter. He worked himself to death to be able to make sure his kids wouldn’t have to work in the sun or with their hands unless they wanted to. He also used his farm as a hobby to stay busy after retirement. And yes my wife likes gardening as a hobby not as a means for survival. You said yourself most black farmers don’t hire Mexicans and do much of the work themselves so what exactly is your point

Do “FBAs” aspire for migrant jobs as their only means of income or what?
