Anyone that tries to ban any group of people seems to have a short sighted perspective.
It's like that old quote from Martin Niemoller:
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
If you think this hateful rhetoric from Donald Trump and these anti-mexicans...anti-muslims stops there...you're sorely mistaken.
It seems to me that black people (perhaps more than anyone in this country) should know better than to think that getting rid of other people will ever boost your status in America.
