I thought the same thing too. Some people have to learn the hard way…But reality is, not everyone who has an ACA subsidized plan is a Trump voter. Red states have lots of Republican voters but they gerrymander the hell out of their states too and disenfranchise a lot of Democratic voters. And not every MAGAt is impossible to win back, there are people out there who voted Trump and then voted for Mamdani. They don’t have anything in common except a message of affordability. The difference being the former doesn’t actually give a shyt. There’s non-voters too who think they don’t need to care about politics, until politics starts caring about them (and not in a good way). They might consider caring a little more once they see how much more they’ll need to pay for healthcare. I mean sure people who don’t deserve it could suffer and maybe there’s more Republicans suffering than Democrats, but who’s winning there? Republicans will be blamed, Democrats blamed for not stopping the carnage. That lets bullshyt cultural issues occupy the vacuum.fukk those bytches who voted for them. They continue to vote against their interests so let them suffer. Even if their rates go up extremely high, they'll still vote red next year.![]()
