Yet, things in my area didn't get more heated than a few series of boos until the postponement was announced (edited from canceled, I corrected myself but didn't fix the sentence). Then the Trump supporters turned nasty and violent. They threatened me and many others, they assaulted and violated my friends, literally as we were backing away from them with linked arms (i.e. no aggression from us) or holding up peace signs. The videos the news keeps playing of a man trying to overtake the podium - that happened later yet the media is acting as though that's what ended the event. No, Trump knew he'd be embarrassed because the crowd was clearly there not in support of him, and he didn't want to be embarrassed by continuous disruption. Every act or violence I experienced and witnessed was unprovoked and initiated by Trump supporters. Don't believe the hype!

Ryan VandewielI was there too. It was canceled due to the potential for protests. The crowd was split half Trump half anti Trump. Young crowd, lots of people of color. Trump's security were photographing the crowd and probably decided to call it off to avoid interruptions. He's a coward. #WeStoppedTrump

This shyt isn't funny anymore. I see how, at first, maybe he appealed to some lunatic republicans who just wanted something different than the political double talk they are used to. But this dude is close to winning the fukking NOMINATION. I don't even normally like to judge a candidate by the worst of his followers, but in THIS case, he invites this shyt. Hillary Clinton is a liar and a political panderer, but I'll be damned if she isn't a better option than this piece of shyt. I have always loved living in America for a lot of reasons, and I believe there are far more genuinely good people here than genuinely hateful people. But I am so ashamed and disappointed our country thus far for allowing this circus to get to this point.
