How did big ballers take your money????
de-regulation. lobbying congress with all the excess cash they have.
people dont realize this. there is one PIE. everyone has to get a slice. the question is how big is your slice? vs how big is someone elses or some corporations slice and why.
we know trickle down econ doesnt work. we've tried it multiple times thanks to the repubs. and some dems. still doesnt work. so in essence we have been given our money to the ultra rich waiting for it to come back in jobs(nope), good paying jobs(nope), good raises(nope), etc. (Nope). they are keeping all of it and still asking for more.
This means my slice of the pie is very very small and theirs is extremely big. that wont work for much longer. small businesses dont even realize this on certain fronts. if you keep allowing huge companies to lobby and change policies/rules/regs. Your little small business will have less and less of a chance to blow up and become a mid sized to large company. they are fixing the game completely in their favor. that is not the way its intended to be. its ok to put your angle out there and let people think about it and decide on it. its not okay to basically pull a Payola on our politicians and watch them do your bidding while the rest of us go into starvation.
and lets go back down memory lane
With Cantor at the helm, Republicans in the House r
efused to end $20 billion in wasteful subsidies to tax-dodging oil companies,
stalled on closing corporate tax loopholes that bleed out $100 billion annually, and even
refused to close a tax loophole for corporate jet owners. Republicans got everything they wanted thanks to Cantor -
cuts to public services, no new revenues and a "supercommittee" tasked with making even more harmful cuts.
like i said. its one big pie. if you cut my slices smaller, you can see how some other person/entities slices gets large and larger.
