I made a post about this, there are some conservatives on reddit who really think their taxes will be returned to them, and their paychecks will go from $1500 to $1800, to $2200 just because Elon got rid of a bunch of 'unnecessary' agencies and freed up a bunch of money. They think getting rid of these agencies is 'owning da libs' because only 'libs' work in govt. agencies. Wild stuff.

Also, a lot of them think Elon is "draining the swamp" which now means going after the average federal worker.

Insurance companies and big Pharma. That's gonna force people to buy insurance and the companies can charge what they want because it's still cheaper than paying the bill. But I assume the people it affects won't even care anyway except when it goes to collections and they start taking away taxes and garnishing pay and benefits.

Everything they post is "liberal democrats do this..." and they laugh at it.

Every post has some type of maga skew to it.

Every bit of criticism of trump has them accusing the opposition of being "liberal"

A few conservatives spoke up and were down voted to oblivion, some have even quietly disappeared.

You ever ask yourself why in the hell do people vote for this?
How is right wing propaganda so effective that it constantly has people voting against their own self interests?

How does the average Trump voter feel when they see him doing shyt like this? I genuinely want to know.

I think its a myriad of reasons

1. Alot of conversative voters are "one issue voters" so they will ignore the 100 other issues that can affect them as long as they get that one item correct ie Abortion.

2. Alot of conservative voters think people are benefiting from the system and dont deserve it. They are willing to vote to make sure that ends even if it hurts themselves.

3 Many are just plain retarded and stupid and are easily duped by media or whatever their friends/family says (I guess that can be said for liberal/centrists to but you get the point)
