Looking forward to Chuck Schumer and hakeem jeffries writing strongly worded tweets and going on the billionaire owned media to say "we won't let him get away with this! We will file lawsuits".

For those of us living in reality, look for pro democracy organizations in your community that will help people get to voting stations, make sure they have their paperwork in order and will protect them from attempts to intimidate them at the polls. Look into getting a fire arm or at least supporting your local left wing gun club(financially or with material) so they can be an armed presence to help people not feel intimidated by the far right shytheads who will be on "poll watching" duty.
So....you advocate political violence as a method of effective change.

They know their policies are trash and that people don't like them. That's why they don't plan on allowing any free or fair elections come 2026 or beyond. That military presence in DC? Expect for them to all of a sudden be sent to voting booths to "ensure a safe election process". They know elections are the last pillar of democracy to knockdown. Once they got that, it's over over for America.

I advocate self defense. If you're minding your own business trying to vote or protest and an armed individual attempts to intimidate you, I think you have a right to use language meant to de-escalate the armed individual (whilst also recording the interaction for evidence) and you should have witnesses that can corroborate the footage.
A weapon shows that lethal force will be used to preserve life in response to an active threat. There were armed people during the civil rights era and newly freed slaves were armed and set up community defense to protect themselves. The myth we are taught in school is that black people just allowed themselves to be killed and tortured until white people eventually felt bad enough to stop. We fought back, but the oppressor doesn't want people remembering that power is not given up easily and without a real threat(economic or physical). The state does not send you a strongly worded letter when you violate it's right to enforce laws meant to protect itself. They don't kindly ask protesters to leave or send you a strongly worded letter when you're caught speeding on a traffic cam. Government officials don't go on a peace march to try and convince gang members to stop terrorizing their city, state or the country. The use economic harm (fines) and force( beatings + jail time) to maintain order. They don't appeal to your rationality, they appeal to your sense of self preservation.
Unions and boycotts represent an economic threat to power.
Self defense represents a physical threat to servants of power(white supremacist vigilantes+ICE violating the laws of your state and the country itself). You have a constitutional right to both life and liberty.
Well, of course, red states will follow Trump.
