In this thread people complained about vague examples of fear mongering.
I provided a clear example of a poster who said black people should be protesting but also all this scary shyt about going to a protest in these times (that applies to any protest ever and isn't 2025 specific). Turns out this time presented us with the safest protest in modern history. 1400 protests, millions of people and somehow not even one reported arrest and the fearful shyt was dead wrong.

There's nuance to everything, I think you should start by recognizing that the "both sides" position is a bit more nuanced than what you've reduced it to here. If this is genuinely all you see when you read a post from someone with the "both sides" position:

It might just be a comprehension issue on your end, while it seems like you have the expectation that people should be comprehending and going along with what you're saying. It's almost as if there is somehow more inherit value to what you're saying when you hold no actual office of power and are really just anonymous message board text to everyone posting here at the end of the day.
And removing that dynamic aside, like I can understand taking this position if you can field a winning team without the people you're talking about in question (this extends beyond thecoli, btw, the "bothsides" shyt is common in this country), but this election clearly proved you cannot. Calling for people who have just as nuanced and principled views as yourself to be banned in this manner, this usually comes from individuals who don't understand the give and take nature of discussion and maybe believe they're right about absolutely everything and are unwilling to give anything to receive something in return.
And I'm not even gonna lie, creating arbitrary rules on a fukkery message board when you have forums like this: https://www.thecoli.com/forums/higher-learning.12/ honestly sounds like some caccery to me. You got a whole board that enforces what you want enforced, why are you trying to create new rules over here. Conversation over there too dry, you not getting enough attention over there, what is it?
