To the actual thread, I don't think this matters to Trump voters, the same way it didn't matter to Biden voters (until it did). Iirc, the argument put forth was that his mental state was of no consequence bc, 1, they weren't voting for him so much as they were voting for his team, and 2, anything to keep the other guy out. A Democrat administration will legislatively and culturally support pro-civil rights liberalism where Republicans will legislatively and culturally give you some conservative authoritarian "anti woke anti diversity" bullshyt.

A Dem administration will protect and expand social programs that largely benefit black people and working people. A Republican administration will dismantle all that so that your boss can get a relief.

A Dem administration will appoint diverse pro-civil rights judges to our courts whereas a Republican administration will appoint a bunch of fundamentalist white nationalist Catholic Church weirdos to change our laws, strip away our freedoms, and make life hell.

That's why you should vote against these fukking Republicans, dummy. It's not hard.

Roe V Wade, abortion rights, and affirmative action is gone, our rights are slipping away before our eyes. And as I said, our children have less rights in 2024 than we did when we were born. But of course this ditsy pro-Trump Republic00nette whos part of the problem has to pretend like anything you say about her shyt party is just "fear mongering." Has to pretend like we get "nothing" for getting to the polls and electing Democrats.

Trump needs to go and this post-Yvette, post-Tariq bullshyt era of politically illiterate, emotionally manipulative do-nothing, cac appeasing pro-black militance needs to damn go.

There is absolutely no circumstance where black people "withholding their votes" and helping conservatives change our laws and our lives will ever be effective. We "withheld our votes" in 2016 and our children now have less rights than we did. Pathetic strategy.

Participating in elections, and voting for the liberal party, candidate, and agenda in the country you live in is not some betrayal of black activism. We can walk and chew gum.

I can't wait til Trump is gone so every moron that "don't fukk wit Democrats" and "support Trump" can stop pretending they care about government and go back to babbling in barbershops so that serious black folks can get back to advancing black agendas in Washington.
