Anyone else incredibly frustrated with this game?
Teammate AI is completely broken. Just this morning I had 4 different instances where forward would receive the ball on the top of the box and my two nearest defenders that could possibly close the ball down took a couple steps away making it impossible to prevent the shot.
Loos ball AI is a mess. I can't tell you how often my teammates run away from a loose ball because they're programmed to get back into defensive positions. In a real life game, if you can get to the ball first, you get to the ball first.
Crossing and heading is a joke. The number of contested headers that end up as goals from crosses is just a joke. It's like the creators of the game never watched or played high level soccer, it simply doesn't work that way.
Maybe it's just my lack of skill, but I have a hell of a time quickly changing direction and exploding past defenders when I'm playing against the computer.
When the computer decides they're going to score, they're going to score. I play on World Class or Legendary and there are a huge number of times in which the computer just knocks the ball around within 30 yards of my goal until the perfect goal scoring opportunity arises and they finish it. Other times they'll be on a counter and create a perfect goal-scoring opportunity but fail to finish. It feels so scripted I barely get any enjoyment out of playing.
