Trying to leave a job you hate is the worst

I tried to leave this job once... they wound up stole my app concept and made their own with some heavy hitters Mine received attention from similar heavy hitters.


I couldn't find work cause my career up that point was nothing close to tech. They finally told me "you don’t care" since all the attention I got and laid me off the next day I still have visions a placing a billboard for the app I really wanted to right between them and the job across the street that also laid me off #REVENGE

It really sucks to have to get to work early just to sit in your car for that extra 10-15 minutes to get your mindset right.


I ended up leaving after 8 months. Best paying job I had but hostile/toxic work environment.

it took a year to get in tech i don't think jobs were believing me on my resume, and even if they were it mighta be like... "cool story but who cares"

not making near as much as i want but i'm working on it along with the new app

if your old job didn't give you any skills that made you desireable to the next employer then that needs to be your focus when picking ya next gig, don't let them waste your time and leave you with nothing to level up with

a lot of these companies have in the employment agreement that if you use their equipment to make anything, they own it.

Good for you but yea man big business will deadass design their shyt to give you just enough bread to keep you on the treadmill and not give you too many skills to where you can just bounce easily, it's wild how many people are caught in that loop after college
