We all do this or we know people who try and do this... There's no denying this fact: Gamer discussion sounds nerdy as hell. Yet some people still try and sound 'cool' when talking about it



Imagine one of your online conversations with people on your friend's list talking about whatever game yal are all playing or just games in general...
-People dropping knowledge and tips on how to level up
-How to beat bosses
-Flaws in the mechanics of gameplay
-Comparing video games and video game characters
-Double XP weekends
-The excitement after beating some challenging mission/section of a game



Now think about somebody who doesn't game listening to that conversation you're having... they're always like

Meh. I think 1nce anyone gets really into something and discuss it with folks that aren't into it, it's gonna sound either nerdy or overly fanatical and whatnot. I tend to not want to talk to people about the interests of things that I know they don't share if they're not genuinely interested in knowing about such.

I just talk how I talk. I hardly talk about games to people in depth outside of my house or with others. My boy a big gamer and when he talk to me about games I just keep things simple. I don't even be on no stan shyt either.

I definitely realized that I can't talk about gaming and try to make it sound like a cool thing, but most people that know me know if I don't have social life shyt going on, I'm all about my gaming, so they can't be too surprised when I talk about it. When I told my nikkas I built a PC for video games they were just like "Damn, you nerd ass nikka. That's whassup though. You tryna hoop? Or you gonna go enter The Matrix? "

I used to hate talking about video games until I stopped giving a fukk about peoples opinions. Now I can be chillin' with my brothers in a restaurant talking about "Yeah nikka then he got that Fus-Ro-Dah work. bytch ass dragon folded. Skyrim top 1. Hail Sithis nikka. "


Funniest part about all that is, the way coli nikkas talk, this shyt is normal to us, but when you take it online, people be mad uncomfortable with it.

But there's something just funny to me when I sit back and just listen and think about the stuff I say to other gamers or hear other gamers say. I just say to myself, "Damn, that's some nerdy ass shyt"

I used to play dumb a bit and still do for some of the hardcore nerdy cats at work to avoid lengthy convos or debates, but a lot of cats at work are gamers or have brothers/boyfriends that do so it's not a thing. My wife will be down in the mancave while I'm playing and just be listening to the conversation like, "Yal some nerds"
