He was staple of WWF in 1995-1996. His first run was dope he looked like a monster and he had a cool move set. He wasn't the best wrestler and he really wasn't charismatic but it was cool seeing black wrestler in WWF look strong and win a belt.

Overall I'll give him a 6.0. :manny:

He probably would have been a World Champion if Faarooq didn't injure him.

6, but it feels weird in a way. He incredibly over at one point and young me loved all of his power moves.

Give him a 7 cause for a moment, he was hugely popular and over. Looked like badass and had a nice powerhouse style, but unfortunately, he was reckless as shyt and eventually injure prone. His 1st year was amazing, but injuries took a toll to the point to where you just wanted him to go away. At his peak though, dude was legit. You can tell Vince loved him like crazy, but even he finally gave up after so many injuries. He was curtains at the 1998 Royal Rumble. Ahmed had gotten bigger, bloated, and was terribly winded. His Harlem Heat 2000 time should have never happened. Ahmed was looking like Celtics Shaq. Ahmed also should never have joined the Nation of Domination. You don't feud with anybody that long, only to join them, but that type of stuff seems to be a wrestling staple (Austin/HHH, Taker/Kane, NWO incarnations, and as recent as Becky/Charlotte and Bayley/Sasha). 95-96 was fantastic for him, but 95-97 was overall good. He very much did stand out (recklessness aside), was involved in a lot of standout feuds, and really was looking like he'd be next. Sucks it didn't happen. Wish he wasn't so reckless, cause he was very athletic at his size, looked like a big deal, and had a lot of charisma even though his actual mic skills made Sid Vicious sound cerebral and calculated. His 1-1.5 years, I'd give him a 9, late 97-WCW, he's like a 5, maybe 6.

He is Titus 20 years ago without his charisma but more talented in the ring.

A mush-mouthed injury prone dangerous mess.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wrestler as unfit and out of shape as he was at the 1998 Rumble. Dude was in the match for 5 minutes doing slow mo punches and was EXHAUSTED when he got eliminated :mjlol:

– Racism he experienced in WWE, specific examples and names, including who he thinks wrote the “N-word” on his car after winning the Intercontinental Championship.

– His experiences working with Vince McMahon.

– What he thinks of each member of the Nation of Domination, calls D’Lo, “She-Lo.”

– Why his view of Booker T is unfavorable.

– Which main event WWE Superstar convinced Vince that “America isn’t ready for a black WWE Champion.”

The Rock story is at the 17:00 mark.

At the 21:50 mark of the interview, he mentions how Shawn Michaels was the one who said America wasn't ready for a black WWE Champion.

At the 56:15 mark, Ahmed talked about his experience working on the MC Hammer TV movie. He also said that MC Hammer was the one who funded Death Row Records and got the label started.

At the 66:10 mark he mentions how Stone Cold beat up Debra for watching BET.

Some other notes:
-Scott Hall helped him a lot when he first got to the WWE (1:04:50 mark)
-He didn't like D'Lo because he was a kiss ass (30:30 mark).
-He doesn't like Booker T because he thinks that Booker is a sellout. (40:35 mark)
-When he debuted, Vince didn't label him as a face or heel. Instead Vince let him go out there and let the crowd decide what his role would be. (55:00 mark)
-He was on good terms with Savio Vega, Crush, Yokozuna, Rikishi, Godfather, Ultimate Warrior, Vader, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, and Undertaker. (52:30 mark)
-He praised Goldust for being a good worker but didn't like how Goldust kept trying to kiss him and acted too :dame:

-He told a story about how Flash Funk was ordered to stop messing around with a white girl backstage through Vince McMahon's orders. Gerald Brisco delivered the message. (9:35 mark)
-Regarding the incident of his car being vandalized, he was told that Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels were seen around his car leading up to the event. (13:20 mark)
-Shawn Michaels told Ahmed to stop using high flying moves and adopt a more grounded power oriented style. (22:50 mark)
-Creative proposed a storyline that involved the Truth Commision hanging Ahmed with a rope. Ahmed rejected the storyline and left the WWE not too long afterwards. (32:35 mark)

OK, this thing's credibility is very questionable now. Yokozuna, who never drew a dime, and doesn't have a single match or promo anyone goes back to, got a higher score than Big Show and HHH. If Yokozuna got the HHH push most people who threaten to stop watching would've just stopped without thinking about it.

I haven't seen much of Ahmed's career so im not rating him.

I vividly remember :gladbron:

-ing out at the Pearl River Plunge. I knew what that was before Misawa's Tiger Driver.

That, his penchant for trying shyt he had no business attempting and clearly off-kilter promos/vibe, is about it. I'm surprised he doesn't have a higher score given that by virtue of being the first black man to win a WWF singles title of any kind, he is an epitome of #BlackExcellence.
