I have come to realize I am too old for this place, so maybe it's me.
But aight, I'll speak like the elder I am: I think we've got a lot of kids here now and that ain't a good thing. It's a reflection of today's kiddie product, but I like to blame AJ Lee.
The sickening, disturbing AJ Lee thread (and similar shyt) played a role in drawing some weird dudes to TSC and I think some of them stuck around when they saw a few gossipy threads that appealed to them. Their contribution these days, in a lot of cases, is a steady supply of either more gossipy threads, weak-ass unimaginative booking ideas, or uninformed opinions stated as if they're facts. I believe most of them are kids. The only wrestling they've ever seen is PG Era shyt. They've got no knowledge of or interest in history, so they speak on today's product as if it's the standard.
Another thing: trolling here has gone to a new level and it ain't a good level. I can appreciate and enjoy intelligent, creative trolling, but I have definitely noticed an increase in troll threads and posts which are just repetitive and not creative at all. Same shyt, a few dozen times, every day.Doesn't make me mad at all, it's just boring.
We need balance here and I don't think it's as balanced as it used to be. Ideally this place should have a few smart and creative trolls, knowledge posters, comedy posters, knowledge/comedy posters, more respect between posters (i.e. don't shyt all over an opinion just because it's not the same as yours), and more of a laid back attitude in general. I know personal attacks are nothing new here, but it seems to me they're happening more than ever these days. People neggin' people because they don't like the same diva. The fukk?
Actually getting mad about pro wrestling. The fukk???
All just my opinion. Anyway, having said all that, there's still a lot of smart, creative, hilarious people posting here and you know I believe that because whenever I drop by I dap y'all on the regular.
Only wrestling forum worth visiting, right here. But yeah I definitely feel too old for this place now. Things done changed, man.![]()
