Feels weird saying legendary because I kinda hated their style of promos, their look, and their corny characters, but the shyt they did in the ring was innovative as hell and their tag matches were the blueprint in that era. If you look back at their matches you can see how crazy over those dudes were, especially with women, but their whole act was stuck in the 80s and once the 90s came around they seemed out of place. (Then you saw shyt like Richard Morton of the York Foundation, I know @patscorpio knows what I'm talkin' about).

yeah the funny thing is ricky morton could still work his ass off...both him and gibson...but they never found the right gimmick to evolve into and they became hokey as fukk esp when father time started taking hold on both of them

Brother we filled up the coliseum and the omni every night, 10,000 people every week to watch us. Mulligan told me in 86, "we needa book an extra show for just you guys, you'll sell out the sunvab1tch!" These boys today cant work for sh1t!

I haven't seen enough of them to rate. From what I can tell they were good workers for the time and prototype wrasslin wrasslers.
