Imma be different here. Outside the dancing what the fukk did they really do :stopitslime: Once they split we seen what they could really do :russ: kishi failed as a heel. Scotty was OK I guess in his single run. Grandmaster flabby:russ: nuff said. They was cool as a group, but let's not let memories fool us. They get a 4 from me:manny:

True but without the group all 3 of them would have been obscure forgotten figures from the Attitude Era. Before Too Cool, all 3 of them were floundering. Also without Too Cool, Rikishi never would have gotten a main event push.

7. That’s probably too high, but they were perfect for their position in their era. Pretty good in the ring, good charisma/gimmick/look, and they were a more fun and less serious part of the show while remaining over.

Things are boring when everybody is “Im a top athlete in this great sport of wrestling, and I’m gonna compete at the very top level at the Coliseum for those titles brother”. When your gimmick is more fun and the fans are invested in your matches that counts for something.

High 6 cause they started from scratch and became hugely popular. They were floundering with a lowkey ambiguously gay duo gimmick until they tossed some FUBU, ECKO, and Enyce gear on them and made them an updated PG13:russ: they were the perfect comedy act babyfaces, and there’s nothing at all wrong with comedy acts when done right. They were hugely over, one a tag title or two (and IC title with Rikishi), and were featured a good amount, in segments particularly. Scotty 2 Hotty had a really good match with Dean Malenko, Rikishi has a nice match and shockingly good feud with Val Venis, and unless I’m mis-remembering, they were apart of that 10 Man tag main event on Raw, one of the best crowds in Raw history. I don’t really have anything bad to say about they.

They were (once again) another standout in the GOAT era of wrestling, even if their peak was only a year (I don’t acknowledge the Rikishi/Scotty pairing in 03/04 much, their reactions weren’t at all what they were in 2000. In 2000 though, I don’t remember how Too Cool ended. Have to assume it was even due to an injury to Brian/Scotty or due to the awful Rikishi turn. The WWF really killed off a hugely popular face in Rikishi for one of the worst reveals and heel turns in history.

And I didn’t even mention the worm and dance-off. Crowds were mesmerized with that back then and sometimes that shyt would happen abruptly in the middle of matches :laff:

A fun, over act in the hottest era in the history of the business, during maybe the biggest single year of it for the WWE. Off the strength of that alone that grants them atleast a 6. I’m going 7 for the fond memories. Not as good as the Hardyz or the Dudleyz but just as fun to watch in their right, they knew their lane and thrived in it.

They were involved in some of my favorite moments of that era (Rikishi being The Rock's surprise partner against HHH and Big Show, the 10 man tag with Kane's return, the Royal Rumble dance, the splash off the cage to Val Venis), and they had my favorite theme song at the time so they get a 7 off top just for that. It's just too bad that Rikishi's heel turn and Scotty/Grandmaster changing their theme to Turn It Up pretty much killed them dead in their tracks.

Turn It Up was terrible :mjlol: I don’t know what the reason was in changing their theme. It’s like when Truth went from What’s Up to Get Crunk.

How would you rate Too Cool as a stable using a scale of 1-10 based on these criteria:

-Chemistry: 9. I get an Edge/Christian vibe from them. Obviously friends, but not necessarily a great tag team such as the Revival, Usos, New Day, Hardyz, etc.

-Impact: 8. I don't think this highly of them, but they are definitely a cult favorite from the Attitude Era. They had their lane, and it was over.

-Did the team enhance the profiles of the members and prove beneficial for their career paths? Yes. Without a doubt in my mind.

-Promo Work: Don't remember anything substantial. But if you count the dancing and all that, this gets high marks as well.

-In-Ring Skills: Kind of doesn't matter as they were at their peak during an era where the in-ring action wasn't that big of a deal. That said, they were pretty solid.

Overall: High 6.75-7. For the time period they were in? They were a 9. What hurts them is the lack of tag title success, but they were over enough to where they didn't need the belts for people to cheer them.
