The amount of mental gymnastics the battle rap community is doing right now is hilarious.

In my opinion taking a plea means you are providing evidence that your co-defendants are guilty.

It dismantles the usual “we are not a gang, we are a rap group” defense

Because now the jury has confirmation that a whole lot of gang shyt was reallygoing down and it ain’t happening with just one person.

But regardless it is what it is. Being labeled a snitch and out of custody is probably the best case scenario for a dude who was really outside doing dirt

They openly admit to being a gang :heh:

They do, but they also think they can cheat the system with bum logic like:

“We are in a music set, it’s different. Completely separate from what those other guys are doing. We don’t share their money”

But really you just left 1 degree of separation

All the prosecutors has to do is connect the dot

Surf been shytting on nikkas for YEARS. Scrutinizing nikkas, jumping on spaces to control narratives and sway the masses. The one time he cant control the narrative, its about him being a snitch. I do not feel sorry for this nikka he getting what he been puttin out; regardless of what actually happened.

That is an AI answer. You can’t equate being part of the rolling 60s to YSL or BMF being criminal organizations. Rolling 60s might even predate rap music, and has nothing to do with it. It’s a well known set. The DA was not trying to prove that the crips or 60s are gangs. It’s already known.
If he admits that he’s a crip, I don’t see how that affects the crips or his friends. He admitted that he was a member not anything else about who was a member or anything else about the gang. Dudes music, socials, clothes, writing style, and everything else just screams that he’s a member you’re acting like he’s moving like Vincent Gigante

Also, it’s law. People need to testify in court or it’s rarely admissible.

The distinction is whether not his crew was an enterprise. It doesn’t matter how sophisticated or sloppy they were moving

EDIT:

I just saw Geechi speak on it, and I now see it from his perspective

Surf’s Co-Ds are the only ones that can decide if he’s a snitch.

So you try to allude to him sneakily be a snitch while he in jail?

bytchmade especially if he ain't do it

And if he did i doubt Math would know
Math isn’t alone in this tho…even before the new developments it was a running theme on Surf in battle rap. Math probably feels like him just admitting that he and his Co-D’s on the RICO shot and sold and banged and this and that, etc… in itself is ratting…in a RICO case just a plea is no good for a lot of the street organizations, you can get killed for that, do the time.
