Just when he was finally staking his claim as the absolute one in battle rap, smh, damn man. If God sees fit to grant you his grace and forgive the mistakes of your past you have a responsibility to yourself and to him to RUN as far away from that way of life/thinking as fast and as hard as you can and don’t look back.
I saw one of them Surf interviews where he said he moved from Jersey to down south somewhere and was just trying to elevate his life positively…the whole time shouting 60s and crip every other minute. What is you on bruh? Elevation or Ignorance? Better make up your mind before you can’t. We’re all men and are just intrinsically kind of drawn to primitive barbaric shyt, so I empathize with his and all of our bond with alpha/overly masculine/tough guy shyt on varying levels…but at some point you have to grow up and just start incorporating practicality and logic to the shyt man, grow the fukk up.

If they want to be successful humans, no doubt. Unfortunately in the gangsta rap business tho, being embedded in the streets is arguably thee most beneficial thing on your resume, disgusting. That’s why I always show empathy to these guys…even the Ar-Ab types…we berate them and clown them after the fact for self-snitching and promoting their criminality…while ignoring the fact that the demo interested in that brand of music absolutely loves that “authenticity” and tough shyt. Fans are unfair and crazy lolIf these guys wanna be successful they gotta leave the streets alone.

A lot of times if he did dirt in the streets, no matter how much times passes, it'll usually come back eventually. And that's what happened to Surf. From all accounts he's been keeping his nose clean as far as street shyt, so I hope that's the case, and this is unfortunately just a case of old shyt coming back.
