He didn't ask him to predict anything.
Nye made an unsubstantiated claim, humans are the cause 100% of global warming, he asked him if that is the case what would the temperature be like if human weren't here, even if Nye believed what he was saying the only scientific answer would have been we don't know too many variables to account for, but to then claim it would be like 1750 is wrong, and to say well england wouldn't be able to grow grapes for wine because they wouldn't be wine quality is even more unscientific because there is no scientific standard of wine quality. To say anything except present a scientific model that is universally agreed upon is dodging the question.
Right and the question is still largely irrelevant to his point being that humans affect climate change.

Do you agree or disagree that humans affect climate change?

The question wasn't if human behavior had an effect on climate change, the question was 1) what amount does human behavior have on climate change since the science is settled and 2) since Nye said 100% what is the scientific conclusion of what the climate would be if human action was removed.

Nye answered both questions, but the truth is there is no scientific answer to either of the questions, its still trying to be ascertained.

Yes I believe human have an effect on the climate of the earth, like all the other animals on it, the question to me is how much of the climate change contributed entirely by humans and how much by solar cycles.

At what threshold should humans then no longer attempt to lessen their impact on Climate Change?

I don't know, personally I think it should be a personal decision, but the idea of a government or governments trying to claim ownership of all human behavior in the name of saving the environment of the globe is definitely not the answer IMHO.
