Democrats would be smart to push for this.

Or is it neutralizing a rising star from the opposition :jbhmm:

Trump isn't stupid

Bannon apparently likes Gabbard cause she's flirted with islamophobes (Hindu nationalist $$), has been critical of US intervention, being a veteran, and being bipartisan on guns..

I think it's mutually beneficial to both sides.

Gabbard becomes a national star as opposed to just a name Progressives throw around in their bubble, Trump gets credit for appointing a young, minority Hindu woman and reaching across the aisle.

I don't think it "neutralizes" anything.

How does she run exactly?

Gabbard: "I'm here because the last 4/8 years have been absolutely horrible. We need a new way"

Media: "Why didn't you resign ?"

Gabbard: "I...uh...well...uhm"
