Just turned 29 today…

I know some of you are going to do the math when you see my join date, so let me do it for you.

Yes, I joined this site at 16.

Yes, posting on TheColi from a young age has warped my views on life.

Yes, most of yall are degenerates and I had no business being here as a minor.

No, I wouldn’t have it any other way and when I have my first child I’m his middle name is going to be “Breh”.

That out of the way, I’ve just been thinking over my 20s and they weren’t bad.

fukked a few hoes, some were very attractive and some I’m not proud of. :ehh:

Got my a nice condo and my childhood dream car, a Red Ford Mustang. :ehh:

Credit good, no baby mamas or STDs. :ehh:

Traveled a little bit, got to see Costa Rica. :ehh:

Got my body right thanks to the breh Son Goku (he posts on the other site now) and the other Gym brehs. :ehh:

I’m a little bit anxious though for a few reasons:

— A lot of my friends are married with kids now and I have only met one woman I
could’ve actually seen myself married to. It didn’t work out because of her insecurities.

— I do want kids around ~35, but with the quality of women I’m seeing available to choose from and the direction this country is headed in, I’m not sure if that will even be feasible.

— My mother had a cancer scare earlier this year, fortunately it wasn’t what it was originally diagnosed as but it brought me to the realization that my parents are getting old.

— Lost one of my childhood pets two weeks ago and it really set in that certain things from my childhood up into my 20s are just going to be a distant memory soon.

I just wanted some of the brehs that are in their 30s to give me some advice on how I should be spending this last year of my 20s and what to expect when I hit my 30s. :lupe:

31 here and nothing changes lol

Maybe you’re mindset shifts more towards settling down, finding a woman to have kids with and you start moving with more intention of making more money and increasing your income

Bullshyt

Seeing the people you care about get older and no longer looking immortal like they once did does something to a person…

Turning 30 is the symbolic beginning of your mid life. Your early life is coming to a close, and you've already perceived that with the loss of your childhood pet.

The desire to get settled with a woman and start a family is going to rapidly increase, and you should be intentional about not wasting time in pursuing relationships going forward

Take a trip and chill out somewhere to mark the end of your 20s, and again, your early life.

I went out to Hawaii for a month and did a lot of meditating on everything up to that point, and where I wanted to go in the future. It helped me a lot and I'm glad I made the time for myself.

That ain't gonna happen if you keep your fitness together @The Burger King . The main thing is what @Wiseborn Said, invest and save, invest, invest, invest. HYSA, ETF, TBILL, 401K, etc.

You'll be setup nice and be WAAAAAYYY ahead of your peers in 10 years. Like it's crazy to be 40 and only worry about your health because you took care of the financial management a decade beforehand.......

Only problem is the financial goalposts keep moving, because of shyt outta your control, i set myself up to have a new car and house from stuff i did years ago and still waiting on the house part :stopitslime:
