Sitcoms been dead for probably 20 years. They just couldn't come up with enough different settings to make them look different. There was a funny article about 10 years back about how there's basically 100 story lines that get recycles over and over.

EDIT: it was a TV tropes website about all the gmmicks they use over and over. Introducing a new baby when all the kids get too old to be cute, the "very special episode" like the child molester on Different Strokes or the caffeine pills on Saved by the Bell, the long lost cousin who shows up and fukks everything up, etc.

And the writing is horrible :scust:

Regurgitated ass storylines and plots

Way too many reboots and remakes

What happened to all the talented producers and screenwriters

They all old so they just okaying remakes and reboots or just enjoying retirement

TV fell off a long time ago, i remember in 2011 my family got cable again after going two years without it....realized its trash.
