My tv has 'ULTRA HD DEEP COLOR' but I wanna get jiggy wit HDR, whats the difference? or are they one of the same?
What kind of TV do you have
And HDR is high dynamic range. That's a different animal from whatever you're talking about. If you don't have a 4K TV, you most likely don't have HDR. And if you haven't seen a select few shows on Netflix or Amazon, or don't have a UHD Blu-ray player, you most likely haven't even see HDR
ahhh, thanks for clearing that up. I think im going to replace this tv next year for another with HDR if its worth it?Difference is in the amount of colors that can be projected. "Deep Color" is more or less useless in basic terms, trying to add something that doesn't need to be added.
If you have a standard HDR setting by all means but Deep Color doesn't need to exist.
What year and model is it. It may be HDR enabled. Like I said, you may just not know it. Unless you're seeing HDR enabled content, you're not gonna know it most of the time.yeah its 4K LG, I replaced most of the TV's in my house with 4K. I got 4k content, but im wondering if its HDR compatible
