Instagram is more addictive. Twitter is behind instagram
I deleted IG but need twitter for local, national and sports news
Not to me. I only follow bad bunny, travel/hiking and friends and family on IG. And the algorithm is all messed up too. It shows me the same ass marriage and dog reels everyday lol.

I would say that I don't, and reading it is much cleaner, much more informative, (as far as local news is any of those things)
watching gets way further into the kind of narrative forming, uninformed nature of most local anchors, who don't really know anything about the content, they just are framing it in the most relatable and palatable way for the general public.
it's not evil, but it's fairly insidious. They all sound so clueless, it's actually pretty comedic. And leans way too much into some random dummy talking about "well, those kinds of things don't happen in this here neighborhood" "well they were pretty quiet, we didn't know they had 80 pounds of fentanyl, but uhhhh boy oh boy that's some uhhh dangerous stuff, for the uhhh community and the people here you know"
