Me and my cousins used to be puffing them candy cigarettes if y’all remember them. We used to act like we was smoking and shyt with them hoes cause it looked like smoke when you hit it. But I never smoke a real cigarette in my life. Not even one puff. It wasn’t until I got older though that I was like wtf, why was candy cigarettes in the stores:gucci: shyt is influencing kids to grow up and smoke smh

When I noticed this dude YoungBoy always had a cigarette, I knew he would influence some younger people. But his name is literally YoungBoy; you can’t blame him. People parents need to make sure they kids not smoking, not rappers.

I’m more concerned with how chance the rapper used to put all those images of him smoking cigarettes and talk about it in his music. When it goes against everything about his wholesome image. But then his family own a tobacco farm. So this the nikka y’all need to be worried about since he got bad intentions.

I remember back in like the late 90s I went to a birthday party for my friend at his grandma spot and she lived in the projects(Douglas Homes for my bmore folk).

We all went to the playground to play and there was a group of kids around our age sharing a blunt ,they had to be no older than 10 years old. shyt blew my mind.

Point I'm making is this shyt been happening, NBA aint start it, just more publicized now thanks to social media

Anyways blaming Youngboy is hypocritical, kids been playing with cigarettes since forever and everywhere. I think I had my first go at it when I was liek 12 or 13, way back in the early 90s in Central African Republic.

This ain't the early 90's or the Central African Republic :francis:

In America in 2021, smoking cigarettes is considered dirty by most young people, smoking cigs is at an All-Time low. If kids are smoking it's more likely to be weed/hookah/e-cigs and vapes.

Kid is bumping YoungBoy smoking a cig just like YoungBoy let's call it how it is. :francis:

What I'm saying is that this has been happening since forever, you can't pinpoint that on ONE rapper lol. If it wasn't him influencing young breh it woudl've been someone else. People were probably smoking even less back than in the US where I grew up back then, and they didn't/do'nt smoke anything else than regular cigs.
