"we tired of seeing the same old shyt"
*cheer for old shyt*
same ol shyt ain't the same as old shyt tho. there's a thread on here talking about how reigns/owens and jericho have faced each other every week on raw for months. that's same old shyt.

plus, none of those guys are true main eventers :yeshrug:

No issue with me. I was defending this since Rock pretty much started this part time wave back in 2011. You pay your dues, you have every right to come and go as you please. Just come and fit in. I do believe in handling it the wrong way though but really the only instance of this would probably be on some Hogan 93-94 shyt. Where you can tell the older/part time guy is abusing the power and the audience really doesn’t resonate with said guy anymore.

Like it or not Rock still had a lot to give and causals/fans ate every second up. Jericho is the king of innovation and the most dedicated/old (works a full schedule) part timer out there and because of that, dude can find ways to stay fresh. Hell, I guarantee you Big Show, Kane & Mark Henry could do SOMETHING to spark interest too but they are enhancement talents now. Taker the oldest part timer out there and dude still picking up crazy reactions. Goldberg stepped out for almost 15 years, to a negative reaction at that, and comes back untouched. Brock left for 8 years and can come back and still have people invested into what he’s doing. Cena is up next. Dude is def going to be one of the last of the star breed. He’s already down that path now tbh.

Long story short, its telling that the stars. The Characters are fading. The new generation has breeded some great wrestlers and good people but they will not hold up to the characters of the past 20 years. Its not all their fault though because a lot lies into the booking and creative too which just fukking sucks most of the time.

This is why I laugh at idiots who cry about part-timers, it's not their fault they're the only ones that are over
